Leaderboard Contest Rules

1. Overview
Clay’s Leaderboard Contests are skill-based competitions that reward users who earn the most in-app XP during fixed time-frames. Prizes are delivered as physical gift cards (Amazon, PlayStation, Xbox, or similar). Apple Inc. is not a sponsor, administrator, or involved in any way.

2. Contest Periods
All times are in UTC-7.

* Weekly Sprint: Monday 00:00 – Sunday 23:59 (resets every Monday)
* Monthly League: First day 00:00 – Last day 23:59 (resets on the 1st of each month)
* Annual Hall-of-Fame: January 1 00:00 – December 31 23:59 (resets every January 1)

XP earned within a period only counts toward that period’s leaderboard. Lifetime XP is tracked separately for profile prestige.

3. Eligibility
Open to legal residents of the United States and Canada, except Québec, Arizona, and North Dakota.
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of digital majority in your jurisdiction).
Clay Premium subscribers are automatically entered into all contests (Weekly, Monthly, Annual).
Free users are automatically entered into the Weekly Sprint only and are not eligible for Monthly or Annual contests.
Employees, contractors, and immediate family members of Clayy Labs Inc. are ineligible.

4. How to Earn XP
Complete an Activity: 50 × difficultyRating × √durationHours
Maintain Daily Streak: 100 × current streak length
Create a Goal: 300 XP
Share to Social Feed: 150 XP (max 3 per day)
Cheer a Friend: 20 XP (first 25 per day)

Anti-grind rules: More than 3,500 XP in any rolling hour or more than 12 identical shares per day will be flagged for review and may be voided.

5. Prizes

Weekly Sprint
1st place: \$25
2nd place: \$15
3rd place: \$10
Random draw among ranks 4–100: \$10
Total weekly prize pool: \$60

Monthly League (Premium Subscribers Only)
1st place: \$100
2nd place: \$75
3rd place: \$60
4th place: \$40
5th place: \$25
Total monthly prize pool: \$300

Annual Hall-of-Fame (Premium Subscribers Only)
1st place: \$1,000
2nd place: \$500
3rd place: \$250

6. Winner Determination & Tie-Breaker
Winners are ranked by total XP earned during the contest period.
If two users tie in XP, the winner is the one whose last XP event occurred earlier.
Winners must pass eligibility verification and an anti-fraud review.

7. Prize Delivery
Physical gift cards are mailed to winners within 14 days of the contest end.
Winners are responsible for any applicable taxes.

8. Weekly Sprint (Free User Entry)
Free users are automatically entered into the Weekly Sprint leaderboard.
They compete for the same Weekly Sprint prizes as Premium users.
They are not eligible for Monthly or Annual prizes.
Odds of winning are determined purely by XP earned, subject to anti-fraud rules in Section 4.

9. General Conditions
Clay Labs reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend any contest if cheating, technical issues, or other factors compromise its integrity.
By participating, you agree to these rules and to Clay’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
